Building Climate Smart Communities

At the heart of the Climate Smart Cities initiative is a simple belief: a cleaner environment leads to safer lives for both people and animals. We are bridging the gap between waste management and animal welfare by empowering the next generation of environmental stewards in Kathmandu and Chitwan.

Through a network of 20 school-based Child Clubs, we are training students to become advocates for child rights, animal protection, and sustainable waste practices.

To turn learning into action, we provide essential infrastructure from e-libraries that foster digital literacy to sanitary napkin incinerators that promote dignity and hygiene.

Our reach extends beyond the classroom. By partnering with Youth Clubs and Nature Guides, we are protecting our forests and ensuring that tourism remains responsible and waste-free. Together, we are building a community where waste is minimized, nature is preserved, and every living being can thrive.
